Last week Sunday, an underestimated storm made landfall in Belize and shocked the entire nation. Fallen trees, damaged homes and shattered lives was the theme for most of the week. Candles burned in every home, as electricity was not restored until the middle of the week, and now, we must burn one more candle - unity. We must ignite a fire through which we all help each other to recover.
Peace. Love. Unity.
i agree on this unity thing...but it is not that easy when people di go thru struggles and others take advantage of the situation...how in the world them thieves manage to walk thru them hurricane winds to steal from others!?!?!
ReplyDeleteImagine....if it was a catagory 2/3 hurricane? Belize is definately not ready for these hurricanes. Lets hope that Thomas does not strike at Belize. Government says they have to wait until Thomas passes, so they can start to rebuild homes.... For those of us who made it out intact... we should try to donate to help w/ relief efforts. Just a thought. =]
